rwilliams.dev ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Richard Williams. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how it is used.

  • Contact form submissions — name, email address, message content
  • Client project data — business details, login credentials, and content shared for the purpose of building/delivering a website or tool

We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools on this site. This website does not process payments directly; payment for client services is arranged separately with each client.

3. How We Use Information

  • Responding to inquiries and delivering requested services
  • Improving website content and user experience
  • Meeting legal or contractual obligations to clients

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Contact form submissions are processed via EmailJS. We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on all pages and restricted access to admin/service credentials.

5. Third-Party Services

This site uses EmailJS to process contact form submissions. Client projects (e.g. Duka Digital) may additionally use Supabase and the WhatsApp Business API. These providers have their own privacy policies governing data they process on our behalf.

6. Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold, request correction or deletion, or withdraw consent for communications at any time — contact richard@rwilliamsdev.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law/contract.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.

10. Governing Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of California, USA, and additionally by the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019) for any services provided to businesses or customers located in Kenya (e.g. Duka Digital clients).
